With over 7 years of experience working as a Nationally Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, I am committed to helping people live their most independent, focused, joyful, and optimal life possible! I have worked at an autistic pediatric outpatient center, multiple high acuity long-term living facilities, and currently, at a neurologic center. When working with stroke patients, we often put a full-length mirror in front of them so they can independently correct their own posture... and that is exactly what our brain training sessions offer... a "mirror" in front of the brain, in order to facilitate self-correction. Since working in the rehab department of a neuro center, I have learned the crucial need to promote and practice brain health and advocate for neurodiverty!
